About Taxidermy Positioning Systems
meet Tony Psaila…
Tony Psaila has been involved in the taxidermy industry his whole life. Both his parents were taxidermists and worked in Toronto, Canada for Oliver Spanner before moving to Australia and opening North American Taxidermy Specialists in St Albans, Victoria.
He took over the family business in 1986 and then moved to Howick Kwa Zulu Natal South Africa in 2001, renaming the business Spirit of Africa Taxidermy.
In 2008 he sold his business in order to teach taxidermy; something Tony is passionate about.
Over the years he’s brainstormed ways of streamlining and improving the way taxidermists work to cut down the amount of strenuous hours each project would take.
I have been woking on Taxidermy Positioning Systems since 2018 and then launched it at the world show in Springfield Missouri USA.
TPS has slowly made its way into Taxidermy Studios all over the world & while attending many shows since 2019 it has been so nice to get positive feedback from people who use my system.
While it can be a little confusing at first glance once you hold them in your hand you will think of many other uses for them??
